We prepare, cook, and deliver weekly Paleo meal plans for individuals, couples, and families. Paleo specifically relates to a time period but eating paleo refers to eating foods we have available today to best mimic the type of foods that our hunter/gatherer ancestors ate for millions of years that allowed them to be healthy and free of most of the diseases we know today. The human genome is still programmed to eat things like grass-fed beef, free-range poultry, free-range eggs, wild caught fish, paleo vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Since agricultural practices didn’t start until 10,000 years ago, our genes have not adapted to eat a lot of foods in the Standard American Diet. This isn’t even taking into consideration the harm that modern processing of food is doing to the human body.
